Privacy Policy

TradiHub Pty Ltd (“TradiHub”, “we”) operates tradihub.com.au. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

We collect: account information (name, email, phone, ABN, licence numbers); profile information you provide (photo, bio, trades, suburb); job and payment data (job descriptions, escrow amounts, transaction history); GPS coordinates when you use clock-in features; device and usage data (IP address, browser type, pages visited); communications sent through the platform.

We use your information to: operate the marketplace and process payments via Stripe; verify tradie credentials and licences; display your profile to relevant parties; send notifications about jobs, payments, and account activity; detect fraud and maintain platform security; comply with legal obligations; improve the platform using anonymised analytics.

We share information with: Stripe (payment processing — their privacy policy applies); other users only as needed for a specific job (e.g. homeowner sees tradie phone after escrow is funded); Supabase (database infrastructure); Vercel (hosting); Resend (transactional email); government authorities if required by law. We do not sell your personal information.

We retain your account data while your account is active and for 7 years after closure for tax and legal compliance. GPS logs are retained for 2 years. You may request deletion of your account and data at any time, subject to legal retention requirements.

We use industry-standard security: HTTPS encryption in transit, encrypted database storage, row-level security on all data, Stripe PCI-compliant payment handling. No system is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security but will notify you of any breach affecting your data.

You have the right to: access your personal information; correct inaccurate data; request deletion; complain to the OAIC if we breach the APPs. To exercise these rights, email privacy@tradihub.com.au. We will respond within 30 days.

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser but this will break login functionality.

TradiHub is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe a minor has registered, contact us and we will remove the account.

We may update this policy and will notify registered users by email at least 14 days before changes take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
